Salt & Wine Dinners
Dinners by the Salt AlChemist, Craig Cormack.
We host salt dinners at the Bergkelder in Stellenbosch – These dinners are hosted in the spectacular mountain cellar, which was built in the late 1960s. The evening begins with a drink on arrival, salty bites followed by a dinner amongst spectacular oak casks carved in the 1700s, the dinner is a great 3 course meal with a sorbet, paired with Fleur du Cap unfettered wines. Tasting of 6 salts from around the world. Chef Craig Cormack provides information and history of salt and the 4 course salt inspired menu dating back to 800 BC.
We do these on a monthly basis our next dinner is on the 29th November.
